Shipping
Getting it to you
What it costs, when it leaves, and what happens when a carrier loses the plot. The legal version is the shipping policy; this is the useful one.
Where we ship
Everywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and the territories. PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses are fine.
We don't ship outside the US yet. That's a logistics gap rather than a decision — supplements cross borders under rules that vary by country, and we'd rather not ship you something that gets held at customs. If your country isn't on the list, checkout will tell you before you get as far as paying.
- United States
- All 50 states, DC, and US territories.
- PO boxes and APO/FPO
- Yes, on standard delivery. Express carriers can't always reach them.
- International
- Not yet.If you'd like us to reach you, tell us where you are — that's how the list grows.
What it costs, and how long it takes
The exact cost and the estimated arrival date are both shown at checkout, before you pay, based on where it's going. The table below is what you'll normally see.
Delivery estimates are working days from dispatch, not from the moment you order — the two are the same thing only if you ordered before the cut-off.
- Standard
- $4.95 — arrives in 3–5 working days.Free on orders over $50.
- Express
- $12.95 — arrives in 1–2 working days.Order before the cut-off or it leaves the next working day.
- Subscription orders
- Standard delivery, on the same terms as a one-off order.
When it leaves us
Orders placed before 2pm Eastern on a working day go out the same day. Anything after that goes the next working day, and anything placed on a weekend or a public holiday goes out on the next one.
Subscription orders are prepared on your renewal date, which is on your subscription page — you'll know it in advance rather than finding out when the box turns up.
- Cut-off
- 2pm Eastern, Monday to Friday.
- Weekends and holidays
- We don't dispatch, and carriers mostly don't move. The first working day after a long weekend is the slowest day of the month, everywhere.
- Peak periods
- Late November through December runs slower than the estimates above. We'll say so on the site rather than quietly missing the window.
Tracking
A tracking link goes out by email the moment the parcel leaves us. If it hasn't arrived within an hour or two of the dispatch email, check your spam folder before assuming something's wrong — that's where it usually is.
If something goes wrong
Carriers lose things, mark parcels delivered before they are, and occasionally leave them with a neighbour without saying so. None of that is your problem to solve.
If a parcel is late, missing, damaged or the wrong thing entirely, tell us with the order number and we'll sort it — replaced or refunded, and we won't ask you to send a damaged item back.
Before you write about a late parcel
Give a tracking number that's stopped moving 48 hours before you chase it. Carrier scans lag, and most parcels that look stuck aren't. After that, come and find us — that's what we're for.
Getting the address right
We ship to the address on the order, exactly as it was typed. If you spot a mistake, tell us straight away — before dispatch we can change it, after dispatch we can't.
On a subscription, changing your address on the subscription page changes it for every delivery from then on, not just the next one.
Something not adding up?
Send us the order number and we'll look at the actual parcel rather than the general case. If it's ours to fix, we'll fix it.
This page describes how we ship. The shipping policy is the binding version.
