Questions we get a lot
If the answer you need isn't here, ask us — this list grows out of what people actually send in. Nothing below is written to close a sale; one or two of the answers argue against one.
Using the products
One 10g scoop a day — 4,500mg of marine collagen peptides — stirred into whatever you already drink. Coffee, tea, water, a smoothie. There are 30 scoops in a tub, so one tub is one month.
There's no clever time of day. The best one is the one you'll actually remember, so most women anchor it to something that already happens every morning.
Collagen and ceramides: whenever it fits, as long as it's most days. Consistency does far more work here than timing does.
Menopause support is the one with a preference — two capsules, with a meal. Plenty of women take theirs with dinner, since night waking is among the most reported symptoms of this transition.
Yes, and two of them are meant to be taken together. Collagen builds the structure underneath; ceramides work on the barrier that holds water in. Different jobs, no overlap — which is exactly why the Skin Duo exists.
Astaxanthin is the one to add third rather than first.
Give it 12 weeks, and expect almost nothing for the first two. Skin renews from the bottom layer up on a cycle of roughly four weeks, and that cycle sets the pace — not the marketing.
Most women feel the change before they see it: less tightness after cleansing around weeks three and four, texture and fine lines from about week five, firmness last of all. The full week-by-week is here.
If you want to keep the result, yes. Skin never stops renewing, so what you build holds for as long as the routine does and tapers off when it stops.
That isn't a catch and it isn't specific to us — it's how skin works, and it's true of everything on this shelf.
No. It goes underneath the routine you already have. Serums and creams work on the surface; this works on the layer they can't reach. Neither one does the other's job, and swapping one for the other just leaves a gap.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first — genuinely, not as a disclaimer. We don't know your history and we're not going to guess at it.
Take the label with you: it lists every active and its amount, which makes that a short conversation. Menopause support carries its own cautions on the pack, including one about hormonal birth control — read those before you start.
Subscriptions
10% off every recurring order, and it turns up without you having to think about it. The second part matters more than it sounds — the whole result depends on not running out in week six.
You choose the interval when you subscribe, and you can change it afterwards without starting again. If you're taking more than one product, they can go out together on the same schedule rather than arriving on different days.
Yes to both, and you do it yourself. Skip a delivery, push the next one back, change how often it comes, or swap the product — it's all on your subscription page. No email, no waiting for us to reply.
Yes, and cancelling takes the same handful of clicks that signing up did. No phone call, no "are you sure" maze, no offer you have to turn down three times. It's on your subscription page.
Each order is charged when it's prepared, at the price shown on your subscription — you're never paying a year up front. Your next charge date is on your subscription page, and the subscription terms set out the rest in full.
Shipping & returns
The cost and the estimated arrival date are both shown at checkout, before you pay, based on where it's going. Rates, cut-off times and carriers are set out on the shipping page.
The current list is on the shipping page, and checkout will tell you before you get as far as paying. If your country isn't on it yet, that's a logistics gap rather than a decision.
Yes. A tracking link goes out by email the moment it leaves us, and you can look an order up any time from track your order.
If it hasn't been picked yet, usually — message us with your order number and be quick about it. Once it's with the courier we can't recall it, though you can still send it back once it arrives.
Get in touch and we'll sort it out. The window, the condition items need to be in, and how refunds are issued are all set out on the returns page.
If something turned up damaged, wrong or missing, skip all of that and just tell us. That one's on us, not on you.
What's in it
Because collagen synthesis needs it. Vitamin C is the cofactor the enzymes require in order to build collagen — peptides on their own hand the body the material without the tool.
There's 100mg of it in every scoop, alongside 100mg of acerola cherry, a natural source of the same vitamin. Most collagen powders pair vitamin E, or nothing at all.
It differs by product, so here it is in one place:
- Marine collagen + vitamin C — contains fish. Not vegetarian.
- Ceramides — vegan and gluten-free, with no soy, wheat or lactose.
- Menopause support — contains soy.
- Astaxanthin — the softgel is gelatin, so it isn't vegetarian. Free of soy, dairy, gluten and tree nuts.
The Skin Duo pairs the collagen with the ceramides, so it contains fish and isn't vegan — the ceramides' own "free of" list doesn't carry across to the bundle.
No. Every active is listed at the dose it's actually in there at, and the full label sits on each product page for you to read before you buy.
Yes. Every batch goes to an independent laboratory before it ships, and everything is made in a GMP-certified facility.
If you want the certificate for the batch printed on your pack, ask us and we'll send it over.
No, and no supplement is. Supplements aren't approved by the FDA the way medicines are — responsibility for what's in the tub sits with whoever made it.
